Hop Jack’s, “A Neighborhood Gathering Place” restaurant chain, with locations at Lakeland Hills and Bonney Lake, is changing its name to Hops N Drops.
“Changing the name simply better describes who we are and in the long run will be easier for both our guests and team members,” said the restaurant’s founder, Mark Eggen.
Completing the name change throughout the company will be done before the end the year, Eggen said.
Some of the changes include a new, more user-friendly website, an online ordering system including an updated point-of-sale system that will enhance the guest experience and payment process, as well as new plate-ware.
The new name, Hops N Drops, was suggested by a key team member, and the leadership team unanimously agreed that it was a good fit.
Hop Jack’s, founded in the Pacific Northwest in 2009, has 17 locations. Eggen and his team, led by vice president of operations Jeff Morgan, opened the first Hop Jack’s in Bonney Lake.
